For Windows users...

How to use your Microsoft® Paint
to make a  bead pattern.
 

You'll need to save these images onto your hard drive:
(Remember where you download ...)

To save an image: 
Right "Click" on the image ... "Save Image As ..." or "Save Pictures As ..."



To save images in bitmap (.bmp)
Netscape user:
"Shift" and left "Click" on the word below and save the image
IE user:
Left "Click" on the word below and "save this file to disk"

You can find the Paint program by:

start
START ...

programs
Programs ...

accessories Accessories ... 

paint
Paint

Select ... "Edit"
Select ... "Paste From..."
paint ...3
Select the folder 
you saved the beads to ...
(I named my folder "beads")

For "Files of type": 
select "All Files" ...

Select  the bead image 
you want to use...

paint ...4
Move the bead to
where you want it

Select ... "Edit"
Select ... "copy" 

Then "paste"  (or Ctrl+V)
and move the bead(s) ...

Or repeat ...
Select ... "Edit"
Select ... "Paste From..."
to select a new bead image.

Use the "Eraser" 
to remove the unwanted beads.

Use "Undo" if you make a mistake
